Need help with casablanca. Last year these new bulbs did well, bloomed etc. Planted in the flower bed. This year they should of been bigger and better, but the opposite has happened. They are smaller than last year and do not look as healthy, no buds. My friend in the same zone is having identical problem, but hers appear to be broken off at the ground. any ideas?

RE: casablanca lily

Are you saying that you bought them in pots last year and they did well, then you planted them in the ground and now they are not blooming? If all that is true, I would say that in that situation sometimes bulbs have to take a year off to gather energy. If they are in a sunny location this year, give them a little fertilizer or compost and they should bloom next year.
