U Pick berries, Timing, Tips please

I missed these last year (mostly because the lack of rain made limited amounts of blueberries, and they went fast).

I want to get some this year but want to time it right and get the best (that I can), or I should say go pick them when they are at their peak.

Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions on this?

In the Piedmont it seems like it's late June, early July. In south Georgia, there was a blueberry festival on June 7 (Alma, GA). I guess the berries were ready by then (?).
