Apple trees in middle Georgia

I've wanted apple trees for years but never really had the time to care for them. Is there a recommended apple tree for the middle Georgia area? I'd like a crisp tart apple for baking and snacking. I'm also interested in how to plant and care for them.

Check out Century Farm Orchards, they sell apple trees the grow well in the south. You can call David, the owner, he can recommend some varieties for you, he is a very nice guy and will be glad to help you.
