There was a huge fire there last week. It was in the news.

I have seen folks picking up the black composted soil directly at the vegetative waste dump site lately. That stuff looks almost like pure manure.

Where is the vegetative waste dump please? I am more interested in that than in their compost.

DeKalb County also has... or did have... a site for free compost. It used to be behind the county jail, near where Memorial Drive crosses I285. The last time I was there, it had moved across the street and was in the Department of Motor Vehicles parking lot. The compost is black and fluffy... and absolutely free.

Dekalb County has a few sites for free compost. You do have to be a Dekalb County resident. When I go, they check my drivers license.

Mamamia, the vegetative waste site is up the road towards Austell road about 600 yards.
