Do you think it would be worth the effort to try a second planting for cucumbers now?

I can't really answer that for you, but I put in a second planting that is getting ready to start climbing my trellis. Only time will tell if I get any cucs or not.

Hi, it's not too late to sow some cucumber seeds on a hill for Fall cucumbers. It will most likely be warm well into September-even October. Do it now though if you want Fall cukes:-)
