| This is my first year gardening and I am already thinking of what has worked and what has not, so I can improve next year.
Sweet peppers were almost a bust - the plant is healthy but has only produced one fruit. I really want to grow heirloom peppers. What varieties have worked well for you here in GA? I read elsewhere on the forum that banana peppers do really well. Thanks for any suggestions! |

| Our banana peppers did great last year and seem to be doing well so far this year. They aren't heirloom though. We've also had a ton of luck with jalapeno and ancho. Bell peppers did okay, but not as good as the others. |

| You are welcome georgia! I was also thinking that maybe you could check the rate and review vendor forum for sites that deal in heirloom seeds. I also seem to recall their being a thread on the seed exchange conversation side about vendors and I'm pretty sure that one of them sold lots of heirloom veggies. Check this thread and see if you find a good site: |
