you might try doing a search on this forum, this subject has come up quite a bit this year. Also research Pierces disease for table grapes.

If you are not already growing Muscadines, they are much easier than Bunch Grapes here. For bunch grapes, the U. of Ark. introductions are worth looking into. Mars is doing ok for me considering no more care than I put into them, it is a blue seedless. But disease resistance should be a high criteria.

You *CAN* grow grapes, just be prepared. A friend takes cuttings every year or so of her vines in spring, and plants more on her property somewhere (fences, this year on her deck...beautiful!) - she always has grapes and no worries if a vine dies, 'cause there's always more!! I have a friend who has grown grapes successfully for years and years in Cumming Georgia, until he had to move. Did spray for mold but never had Pierces. Perhaps that was because he grew some years ago?
