Gorgeous! It's funny you should post this, because for the first time since last year, this weekend, those pretty, large dark blue butterflies showed up in my lantanta again! I thought maybe my overzealous-ness in the Japanese Beetle war might have killed them off too, but I was so happy to see them again! I love lantana. I am SO happy to live in a climate where it's beautiful and it comes back, but it doesn't seem to take over and become a nuisance!

Papilio Alexanor, subspecieis 'Glaucus', aka "Southern Swallowtail", aka "Eastern Tiger Swallowtail" (I've heard both used)

I'm not a scientist, so can't tell you more. Used to collect butterflies as a kid, and it's clearly a swallowtail.
