There was a plant that started growing in my garden a couple months ago. I left it alone, because I wasn't sure what it was. Now it has finally produced its "fruit," and it appears to be some sort of ground cherry. I have never planted any of these before. Do they grow wild throughout GA, I wonder?

Some are edible, some are not. I'd suggest only eating the cultivated ones.

Tbanks, girlgroupgirl--sounds like good advice. :)
