Hi Girlgroupgirl,

Do you know what type of plants and seeds they will have available at the Plant Sale this weekend?

Thanks!

RE: Girlgroupgirl - Question about Holy Comforter's Plant Sale 09

Thank-you for posting, Ollierose :)

We have lots of hosts - nothing fancy but healthy green or green/white striped.
TONS of fresh basil
Some perennials- not a huge amount but some nice natives too - coreposis (technically a biennial but it re-seeds), tradescantia, several lovely little red buds, a nice tiarella or two, some Southern magnolias, a variety of fig sizes from small to fairly large, unique and unusual lettuces (they are small but ready to plant), green italian Chicory, other greens including blue curly Kale which lasted us all winter and summer this year at Holy C.,

No seeds. I just don't have them ready yet, sorry.

Oodles of fresh home baking
Fig jam, fig jelly and a peach jam

10-2 737 Woodland Ave SE, Atlanta, 30316 - all proceeds benefit The Friendship Center, Holy Comforter's day center which supports gardeners and artists and individuals who are diagnosed with mental and developmental challenges.
Next sale Oct. 10th!
