The short anwser is YES. any Hardy kiwi will grow well in zone 7. Fuzzy kiwi is OK as soon as you select the appropriate variety.

I bought a male and female Kiwi from Pike's about 3 years ago. Planted it where it would be able to Vine up. No blossoms or fruit all that time. It does grow like Kudzu. This year the vines are covered in fruit! No idea if they will mature but I am looking forward to quite a bit of the fruit. No special treatment. I just planted it where it would get plenty of water and sun.
