Cobb compost alone ok?

Hi all, I've got a question on amending soil for a new landscaping bed. We picked up a trailerful of free compost (available near the Cobb county dump) and tilled it into our clay where we want the bed. Trouble is, we need about 2 more trailerloads of something to fill the bed in properly (it was in a depression to start with). Shrubs will go in the bed. Are we ok just using more free compost, or should something else be added? Right now, after the first load, it's about half compost half clay. Any experience or suggestions? thanks.

Can ya get some manure? That would be really helpful if your Cobb compost has a lot of rotted wood stuff in it. Helps break it all down and that would really be all you need.
