Ahem has a potato question for Fall

Just in case you didn't see it on the old potato thread, ahem wondered if we can plant potatoes in the Fall.

I wonder the same thing. I tend to like potatoes in the cool weather anyway.

Here is a publication from the GA Cooperative Extension Service that discusses Fall potato planting as well as many other aspects of growing potatoes.

RE: Ahem has a potato question for Fall

The main problem with fall planting is going to be finding seed potatoes. They are hard enough to find locally in the spring.
Anyone know a good baker to recommend?
