| Hi everybody,
Does Liatris spicata (Spike Gayfeather) reseed for you? I love this plant and I am wondering if it will come back in enough numbers, and reseed some, or do I need to plant more corms? Thanks |

| I haven't noticed any reseeding from my liatris. I'm in metro ATL, and it does come back each year. It is a clumping perennial for me. After just a few years, I have a couple of good sized clumps (read "big"). If your's don't come back, I'd be happy to share a piece. :) |

| Mine doesn't reseed, but it is perennial. |

| I have had a clump of Liatris pycnostachya - Prairie Blazing Star, for more than 25 years and have never found a seedling from it. I surmised that the birds were picking it clean or maybe it was a sterile clone? Anyway, I'm rather pleased that it is not one of those plants that seeds all over the place, like my native Aster!
