Plants hit with Frost, now what?

I had covered everything the last 2 nights, and checked the weather yesterday afternoon, lowest temps stated 38. Woke up this morning to a white covered lawn, needless to say, my plants are probably toast. I had many many peppers, eggplant and some tomatoes that were loaded with green fruit (they came up late as volunteers).

I went out in my PJ's with the garden hose and hosed everything down, is it too late? I'm just so upset with myself I could cry. or spit, not sure which emotion is there now.
