I am looking for milk weed seed. I have 6 acres and would like to turn it into the Hilton for Monarchs! If anyone has extras I would love to have some...I have little to trade as I have not been in this house long, but will look around. :)

RE: milk weed

Do you want the wild kind with the pink flowers? Planning to go to NC this week end and the pods are everywhere along the road side. Will be happy to bring some back and mail them to you.

RE: milk weed

I have the orange asclepias tuberosa pods, but why not use as many different kinds as you can. I had the pink swamp milkweed and those caterpillars loved it so much they stripped and ate it to the ground. i had hundreds that year, love providing food for them.

RE: milk weed

there is a milkweed newbie forum. you will be matched w/ someone from your zone and receive some mw seeds!! good luck! :)
