Savannah shrub

I am usually on the Florida page but this past weekend I was in Savannah & while walking in one of the parks I saw a shrub, about 8ft. tall with white flowers. The blossoms reminded me of hydrangea but the leaves were small, only about 2" across, rough textured & notched edges. Can anyone help me with an ID. TIA

RE: Savannah shrub

There is an asian viburnum blooming now; it could be that.
