| I saw brussel sprout starts at my local garden center and the lady there told me it was not too late to put them out, but everything that I am reading says otherwise.
I am in Cumming, Ga (not sure if that is 7a or 7b). Is it too late to put out brussel sprouts???? |

| Put them in now. The sprouts take a long time to grow and mature and just taste all the sweeter with frosts. They are frost hardy here along with many other vegetables including all brassicas. Many older books and sources do not recommend 12 month vegetable gardening in Georgia. It is quite easy to manage now, especially since our climate has gotten warmer than it was when most books and sources where written. GGG |
