Just wanted to let everyone know that this Saturday, November 15, from 9:30 a.m. to noon, the NPU-T Urban Agriculture Committee is sponsoring a community garden summit in the West End of Atlanta. I've posted this event on the GardenWeb Calendar.

We've got some great speakers lined up, and the event is free.

A potluck lunch will follow the educational presentations.

RE: Educational garden event in West End this Saturday

This was an absolutely fantastic event, and a BIG thank-you to Westender for organizing things.
Although this event was in the West End and about the West End, people from all over the city (and from Alabama!!) came to hear people speak with enthusiasm about urban agriculture. This was a group of inspired individuals who see freedom in a seed!
