shiitake mushrooms in atlanta?

Anybody had any luck growing shiitake mushrooms on logs in or around ATL? I'm about to innoculate a few logs but before I pay for the spawn and do the work I want to know if there's hope of success.

Lots of folks, but nobody I know on here. My friend Lori innoculated logs last year. I think next year she should get something. At the East Atlanta Farmers Market a farmer from Unicorporated Dekalb County (probably 2 miles from me) grows a lot of Shitake for fresh and dry. Tonight is the last night of the market 4-just after dusk. He'll be there if you want to discuss!!
I've innoculated in Chattanooga at the urban farm there. We did see them growing on stacks of logs in the forest. They kept them fairly moist with a misting system that worked very nicely for them, although I understand this is not necessary.
