Any Bulb growers out there.....

that needs a few more bulbs?
Went to Growers Outlet to pick up a few items and found a new bulb.
Lycoris aurea (Yellow/Golden Magic lily, Spider lily, Resurrection lily, Naked Lady, Hurricane lily, St. Augustine lily, Rain lily, etc., etc.,etc.)
5" pots, foliage only. If left undisturbed, will probably bloom next summer/fall. $2.50 ea., 5/$10.
There were a few left, after I loaded up!
Seriously, there were several hundred left on the racks.
But, as soon as people figure out what they are and what a great bargain the price is, they won't last long.

They are sold out!
Went there this AM to pick up a few, after checking their availability list, that still had them listed and there were none. Same with Camellias. The place looked really bare, except for zillions of Pansies and ornamental cabbage & kale and lots of Hollies, groundcovers and grasses. They are closing next Sunday, for the winter, so I suppose they aren't restocking many of the plants. |
