Wanting to organize WV plant swap

Posted by magnolia2017 5b (My Page) on

I would like to host a plant exchange in central WV if enough people interested. In addition to plants and shrubs, I'd also like to trade garden ornaments, supplies, etc. The time would probably be early to mid-June, either on a weekday or a Saturday afternoon. Please let me know if you're interested.

Hi!

Beverly and I are hosting a swap in Columbus, Ohio area May 15th (See the posting two entries before yours.) We'd be glad to see you.

Bev and I might consider a road trip to go to yours. Where are you located in WV? Saturday afternoon has worked well for our swap. I don't know if folks would be able to attend on a week day. We get folks from all over Ohio, western PA, WV, Michigan etc. at ours since Saturday allows for travel time.

Post some more info. I'll be checking.

Mimi

As of now, the swap will probably be the second or third Friday in June although we have yet to rule Saturday out. The original location was in Upshur county, but are considering a location closer to I-79, possibly in Lewis County.

I'm not sure what, if anything, I would have to swap. I'm just now getting really interested in gardening. I've started seeds but not sure how much luck I'll have. I fear the only things I'll have for swapping are hostas, marigolds, and "ditch lillie" which are not exactly hard-to-find items.
Still, I'd like to know more about the swap
