Groundhog Day Get-Together

Posted by landscaping z5MA (landscaping.guide@about.com) on

I'm still trying to break previous commitments that fall on the same date (February 2), but I'd love to attend the 2005 Groundhog Day festivities in Punxsutawney, PA. As a gardener, I feel a special attachment to Groundhog Day, since it marks the half-way point between the winter solstice and the spring equinox. Anyone else thinking of attending?

Just saw this post and figured out why no one replied. Members saw your state as being MA, so didnt open the post to read about it if they didnt live there. Try putting the state in the post heading, and the results will be dramatic.

Hi Quirkpod,

Thank you for replying. It was nice of you to take the time just to try to enlighten me about something, so I don't make the same mistake again. However, I'm a bit confused by your advice. At first you seem to say that seeing my state ("z5MA") kept people from replying. But then you say putting my state in the "post heading" will make more people reply. Sorry, but I'm confused (I admit, it doesn't take much to confuse me).
