I wish we had any kind of plant get together. This town (Brownsville, Tx) really sucks. Around here, you think you're all alone. Thank God there is this awesome place.

The Palm Society of South Texas has monthly or nearly monthly meetings. Though they vary in location from month to month, many take place in the Lower Rio Grande Valley. I believe there is also an annual plant exchange. I've only been to one of their meetings, but I hope to attend more in the future.
