I emailed a few days ago in order to get info, and I haven't heard anything. Should I resend, or just be patient? :)

RE: DuPage Plant Swap -- Spring 2006 -- Illinois

Hi. I am new to Dupage and would like to attend the plant swap. Would you mind explaining to me exactly how it works and what I would need to bring. Thank you.

Hi New Gardener,

In a nutshell, you can bring 10 plants for the main swap and 4 for the Named Plant Swap, which includes iris, hosta and daylilies. You swap gallon for gallon, quart for quart. The swapping is done in rounds. We also have a freebie table and some people bring non-perishable snacks.

Please send me your email address if you would like the registration info. It was a lot of fun last year. We had approximately 60 swappers so there is a nice variety to choose from.
