 o
a few questions.....

Hi guys...I'm totally new to the plant-swapping scene, but I have a friend who has a ton of space & needs ideas for making it profitable. He owns a whole school and wishes to host flea -markets in the Summer months. I brought up the idea of holding a plant-swap & he wants to know where the profit is. Duh, I wasn't even thinking of that! I'm not sure there is one? Don't most people hold swaps for free? Or do you usually rent space? What is customary? Is there ever a cover charge involved? Any info would be helpful, please forgive my ignorance...thanks a lot, Shannon :0)

RE: a few questions.....

i think a plant swap is a service to the community and helpful to all the gardeners involved, but not a money maker.
however, your friend would get free plants!!!
if you don't mind telling me, in what part of michigan are you located?
east side, western mi. ?
thanks
