| The NE Chapter of the American Primrose Society is having their annual Primrose Show at Tower Hill Botanic Garden
Saturday, May 3, 12-5pm and Sunday, May 4, 10am-4pm Vendors selling choice plants and gardening products. There is also a Daffodil show at the same time and place. The primroses in the grocery store are not the only kind! I have purple orbs of flowers, primula denticulata from the Himalayas, blooming right now in NH. If you are interested in Primroses in particular, this would be a good way to meet chapter members and find out about joining. Here is a link to the American Primrose Society if you are curious: http://www.americanprimrosesociety.org/ Usually there are 100s of plants and judging and ribbons awarded. The venders generally sell not only primroses, but also rock garden plants, hypertufa containers and other cool stuff. Admission to Tower Hill is $7 seniors, $10 other adults, $5 6-18, under 6 free. Remember tho, on these dates its 2 shows for the price of 1, plus the grounds are nice. Here is a link to Tower Hill, with directions. http://www.towerhillbg.org/thwebdir.html
