Hi! I'm here on the Island. I live in Selden, near Port Jefferson. We just bought our first house less than a month ago. I'm afraid I'm a little new to gardening compared to most on these forums, but the spirit is willing and I just love it. Would love to meet gardeners and see what you love to grow! This fall I plan to prepare the soil and get ready for spring! Fortunately, teh previous owners had some nice plants here...lilies, black-eyed susans, hostas, butterfly bush,.... My dream is to have a lush english style cottage garden.
