Swap's location, date and time remain: Saturday, August 27, 2005 from 2-5p.m. at Crestview Park (on Park Street), Rutherfordton in Rutherford County, NC.

If coming towards Rutherfordton from the east or west on Hwy 74, take exit 178 onto Hwy 221. Head north on Hwy 221 to the 3rd traffic light (Tanner St.). It's 4.3 miles if coming from the west on Hwy 74 or 4.2 miles if coming from the east on Hwy 74.

If arriving on Hwy 64 north of Rutherfordton, turn onto Hwy 221 and head south 2.0 miles thru the thriving downtown area to the fourth traffic light (Tanner St.).

At the Tanner St. light, you'll see Southern Star Convenience Store & Barbeque Place, and Joe Moore Auto Sales, Inc.

Turn left if coming from Hwy 74 or right if coming from Hwy 64 onto Tanner St. -- which sits between Southern Star Convenience Store & Barbeque Place, go up Tanner St. hill about 100 yards.

You will see a small red sign on right, says: Crestview Park, take immediate left onto Patton St. and go about 100 feet.

Crestview St. is your immediate right turn.

Now you're going thru a subdivision. At the first

Stop sign, make a left turn onto Park St. and go about 50 feet.

Take a right turn, follow around to the only covered pavilion, find parking (there's plenty, holds Little League).

There are 2 playgrounds above the pavilion divided by age group: 2-5 year olds and 6-12 year olds.

There are 4 electric outlets on the pavilion, which means we have space for more fans.

Although a gallon jug for watering plants to get them home safely (particularly if you live faraway), won't fit under the restroom sink faucets, there are hoses attached outside the restroom -- at least there were the day I checked. Imagine they use them to wash restrooms and more.
