Habitat for Humanity, Garland, Texas landscaping

I'm on the speed dial at Habitat for Humanity: The Garland group is starting a "Women's Build" house in March, 2004, & they need landscaping: volunteers, materials, plants, everything.

I'm excited about it.

Who all wants to share time & plants & get their fingers grubby in a good cause?

RE: Habitat for Humanity, Garland, Texas landscaping

Contact Janice Croarkin with Texas Garden Clubs at tgcoffice@aol.com to find a garden club in the Garland area who might be willing to help with this. National Garden Clubs and Texas Garden Clubs support the Habitat for Humanity projects and should be willing to help with this. Also look for help from the Dallas County Master Gardeners group. Another garden club that is really into community service projects is the First Men's Garden Club of Dallas. (You know, they're the ones with the naked gardening men calendar each year.) Their website is below if you want to contact them. Good luck with your project!

Here is a link that might be useful: First Men's Garden Club of Dallas
