| I posted a message about this a couple of days ago but looks like it disappeared!
I read an article by Brian Bixley in May 1999 HOrticulture telling how he grows G. himalayense and G. endressii as a ground cover over spring bulbs and colchicums under crabapple trees. He mows them in mid-August after the bulb foliage has died (he's in Ontario)and then again in November to prepare them for winter. He says it works great with the bulbs, etc.
My question is does anyone know any other species that would work well with the twice yearly mowings? Anyone had a similar experience as Mr Bixley?
Thanks,
