'Rozanne' in hanging basket?

I am wondering if anybody has tried this and how to over winter the basket. Since she is such a sprawling plant, hanging from a basket will be very pretty and unusual.

Sounds good to me. I had one that sprawled out into the lawn - took a shovel, popped it out, jammed the shovel down the middle to cut it in half, planted it in 2 unprepared spots, cut off most of the tops of both parts to about 6-8 inches, and Rozanne never even blinked. Within a couple weeks both were reflowering. That's when I remembered that I had forgot to water in the transplants! If it can take that abuse, a basket should work - I would use water crystals so she doesn't dry out too quickly and be prepared to cut back several times.

What a great idea. I love this geranium.

Thanks. I'll try one this year. I'll add some water absorbant crystals to the potting soil to help keep it stay moist longer.
