Geranium Madrense

I have just bought one of these plants and am confused as to where to site it. On-line the advice seems to be to plant it in full sun but the nursery I bought it from says it should be planted in full to partial SHADE. Perhaps becuase I am in zone 10 the plant is less tolerant of the heat? Will it flower in bright shade? If so, I have the perfect spot...
Thanks

I grew Maderense in Australia, ( zone 10) it had morning sun and did very well, it is amazing plant, and not just for the flowers. I would not grow it in full sun in zone 10. Hopefully you can gather some seeds after it flowers, as it is monocarpic and will die after flowering. |
