| Biokova is a white one with a tiny bit of red that I really like. I don't know where you can buy it but you should be able to do a search and find out. Nancy |

I'm partial to hardy geraniums. Bloody cranesbill has gorgeous pink flowers on it. Here are a few of my favorite: Ger. x cantabrigiense 'Biokovo' Ger. x endrossi "Wargrave Pink" Ger. x magnificum Ger. x sanguineum var. striatum (Bloody cranesbill) Lovely pink color. Hope this helps! |

| Unless you're already wedded to geraniums to shade your clemmie roots, here's a beauty of a sedum (sedum sieboldii, or October Daphne) that is simply perfect for shading those roots and making an elegant setting for clematis. |
Here is a link that might be useful: Sedum shades clematis

| If you're coming to the plant swap in Dupage county tomorrow, I've got 3 Geranium 'Biokovo' to trade. Or, if you know you're coming and let me know I can just pull a few extra tomorrow before I leave. They'll fit the bill very nicely. |

As far as white geraniums are concerned, the "best" one at the moment should be 'Coombland White', but it may not be so easy to spot... Other white/light pinks : - G. versicolor - G. asphodeloides - G. oxonianum Hollywood - G. oxonianum Walter's Gift - G. 'Sherwood' for a true change of flower shape ! - G. 'Winscombe' will produce flowers with all shades of white to light pink at the same time..very pretty too... All the above will row in a middle-size clup..For lower plants : - I second G. striatum, a cute little geranium indeed... - G. cinereum 'Ballerina' |

Hi Kerstin, the one you described in your second post could be G. clarkei 'Kashmir White'. It is one of the best geraniums for bed situations. I add a picture of my plant. VLG; Katrin

I love the leaves on Wargrave, they have lots of texture, and the shade of pink in so beautiful. It is one of my favorites. Diana |
