I dug up all my geraniums last year and stored them in bags in the basement. I was starting to pot them but noticed that some of them are really dry. Does that mean that these won't produce shoots or do I still take a chance and pot them anyways?

Try them, some will surprise you. Allow a looong time to go by before you give up.

I've had good luck with the geraniums in a bag storage method in another state, but haven't had great luck here with it. Not sure what causes the difference.
