I'm looking for a pink that is not too pale. Any ideas?

Thank you,
Carla

Some of the recent developed new versions might surprise you. Visit your local full service nurseries and see their offerings this spring.

Jeannie, it will most likely have to be mail order. The crappy town where we live doesn't have many nurseries and most of those don't carry geraniums.

Are you looking for a hardy geranium (cranesbill)? or a pelargonium?

Cranesbill

some pink hardy ones

I have Geranium 'Patricia' (which is medium-tall and wide) and very bright, almost magenta pink and long blooming. A new one I got last year is G. sanguineum 'Ankum's Pride', lower growing, very deep pink. G. endressii 'Wargrave Pink' is an older well-known pink for sun or part shade, in any soil.
