Potting Soil.

I potted up some geraniums the other day to put out on my deck..a little later I noticed that instead of potting soil, the bag said "soil compost", what is the difference between potting soil and soil compost and should I replant geraniums in the potting soil???

RE: Potting Soil.

Many of us container gardeners will add something like soiless container mix to composted soil because some of the composts can stay too wet in the container. If you haven't already, I'd repot and maybe mix what you have by 1/2 or more, with some good potting mix.
