How to make new plants?

I saved several geraniums in my greenhouse over the winter, but naturally, they got nasty looking. However, they are alive and sending out new shoots, but I wonder how to start new plants from these old ones, using the new shoots. Where do I break them off, etc? Thanks in advance for your help - Barb

barb...check out a thread called "It's now geranium time" by Caroldiane posted feb 6, o6 @17:35....it is near the end of the first page here on the geranium forum....in fact read the whole post.....I wish I had know all this before I worked with mine....I had 2 beautiful pots with 2 plants in each, last year....saved them back, stored in brown paper sacks in the basement....they are coming back too..so I am hopeful...My Mother used to save hers back storing in basement, the next spring they would come back and by summer time was here you couldn't tell the difference between old and new.....
