Help from the experts-assessment of my geranium

A friend of ours gave us a potted geranium. We put it into the ground where it gets almost full sun. It doesn't seem to be growing well. HAs stayed the same since the past 3 weeks with not much growth. We put it in the ground with top soil mixed with 10-10-10 granules. We also so far have been treating it with biweekly 15-30-15 fertilizer. I have taken a photo and attached a link..Can someone take a quick peek and tell me what you think? Thanks!

DAZED,

That sounds like a lot of fertilizer. Excess feeding can result in overly lush growth or a plant that "just sits there", as its roots don't have to grow deeper in search of nutrients. Little root growth equals little top growth.

Just a guess, good luck.

Kate
