Need help--dead parts on once lovely plants!

My pels are wilting from the heat, sun and likely overwatering. I think I put the drip on them too long.

My question is do I cut off dead parts. There is definitely green on them still but lots of dead flowers and leaves.

Not an expert here - but I would cut the dead parts off and maybe put in the shade for a bit to let them rest. Hold off on the water until they dry out a bit, perhaps. Good luck and I hope they get better!

Put the plants in the shade, that is, not the dead parts, LOL! Definitely was up too late last night!

I agree. Mine get all wilty and pouty when it just gets too hot. The do fabulously if they can have some shade during the heat of the day. I have learned (finally!!) that it was the heat, not lack of water that made them wilty.

If you are growing them along/on a hot patio, that is especially true. Mine really perform the best below 90 degress Fahrenheit.
