How should I take cuttings?

Posted by anewgarden 7 (My Page) on

I have a large, tall white Geranium that is very happy. It has been inside in a sunny window all winter and keeps blooming and blooming! I will be putting it outside when it is time to set up air-conditioning.

I'd like to take some cuttings from it to reproduce it. Should I wait until Fall? Take then now? How long should they be?

Thank you!
Audrey

Take them now...about two to three inches ought to be fine. some root them in water, I just use potting soil/perlite mix. You can use a rooting hormone if you like but i don't find it necessary.
