When to prune

Posted by rjinga middle ga, zone 8 (My Page) on

I have pots of geraniums that cycle in and out of beauty ;) It has been pretty hot and dry here, so I keep them watered a few times a week (definitely dry out in between) I also dead head the spent blooms. But I have some taller plants that seem too leggy and not at all full. Would they benefit from a good cut back now? Any tips?

thanks!

RE: When to prune

Prune? Why not pinch out the growing tip and let them bush out that way? If you do prune, use the pruned ends as cuttings.
