My gerariums will not bloom, they get the head but it will not bloom. What can I do

Posey, more info is needed. How did the plants come to be....from what source. cuttings, seed...or from wintered over plants.

How much sun does the plant get. Its the sun that often decides whether a plant will produce flower buds.
In what kind of medium are they....in the garden bed, in a pot...or container....and what exposure are they receiving.
