Geranium 'Buxton's Variety'

| Hi
I've just bought a Geranium 'Buxton's Variety' and I noticed after the flowers opened that they look like a miniture 'Rozanne'. The flowers are blue but don't have a white middle. Is that normal for young plants?
Does anyone have experience with this plant?
Thanks, Erikka |

| Hello Erikka, Buxton's variety means that it is a seedling from the famous Buxton's Blue. Not a cutting. So the plants can look different. If you really want the big, blue flower with the white middle you should look for the real "Buxton's Blue" and buy it in flower. In my garden, I grow Rozanne as well as BB and I must say that the flowers of BB are bigger and tend to get more blue as summer ends (colder). Greetings from The Netherlands, Margriet. |

| Hi Margriet, Thank you for your quick answer!! I don't mind this colour , I was just wondering about it. Everytime I see a picture , it is blue with the white middle. Thanks again for your help!!! Erikka, Canada |
