Varigated Geranium macrorrhizum

I purchased one of these in the fall of last year. It wintered over fine. Somehow over this spring however, the varigation seems to be fading somewhat. It is in bright shade, with some morning sun. Do you think it may need more light?
Thanks for your input. |

| I bought one last June and discovered this spring that it came up in 3 distinct small clumps, rather than one. I have it in my brightest sun near the house, on the east side. I divided off 2 of the new sections and have planted one in a moderately shaded bed which gets some morning and late afternoon sun. The third is potted but will go into a new bed I am working on which may be shadier. I had my son cut out some of the scrub trees which were on the south side of this area, but the east side is still somewhat wooded. When I get a chance I will take pictures of how the variegation is in each spot. Right now it is mostly a medium green with a few white patches and edging. |
