Is it possible to take cuttings from Alpine geraniums?

Hi
If you are talking about the Alpine Pelargoniums (Geraniums) you see in Austria, Switzerland and south Germany, the answer is Yes, Two points to watch 1) do NOT use rooting liquid or powder and 2) do NOT tent, or close up your cuttings.
It would be worthwhile to borrow a book on Pelargoniums/Geraniums from your local library or do an internet search. |
