holes in leaves

Hello Everyone,
I am a new member and I would really appreciate some help. I have two geraniums in my garden. One is from a clipping from a "wild" plant and the other was bought. For a while they were both growing nicely, but now the bought one has shrank in size and they both have holes in their leaves. What should I do?
Thanks!
Ania

RE: holes in leaves

There are several insects which could do this, but most likely it is slugs. I have attached a link to an article.

Handpicking, baiting, and trapping are all good methods of control.

You need to start this in late spring next year to get them before they damage the plants. once the plants are damaged, it is not reversable.

Here is a link that might be useful: slugs and snails - article
