| i had trimmed some of my geraniums because they looked shraggedily and now they say they will look that way this time of year so should I trim them again |

| Most hardy geraniums (cranesbills) can be sheared or cut back after their primary bloom flush. They will rapidly regrow a lush crop of new foliage and often rebloom. If you have already cut them back, there is no need to do so again. |

| Some hardy geraniums are sprawling and work well weaving in among other plants. After cutting back they will regrow and be sprawling again when blooming. |
