| I grow Deerfield Lavender Lad or Lady, I can't determine which it is supposed to be. I've been given a geranium which resembles it very much, except it is a light, bright pink instead of lavender. The person who gave it to me said they remember it being a species geranium from the name on the pot (which is long gone). Might anyone have any ideas what it might be, please, so I can look it up to find more about it? Thank you. Kim |

| 'Lavender Lad' and 'Lavender Lass' are suspected hybrids from Pelargonium ionidiflorum. That is one of the species in the grouping known as reniformis pellies (Section Reniformia) -- all the flowers in this section will be similar in form. Without anything more firm to be certain, your new plant could be a P. ionidiflorum, which has bright pink flowers. |
Here is a link that might be useful: reniformis pelargonium
