What are the best varities of Geraniums for Clearlake, Tx (close to Galveston)?

Are they winter hardy and evergreen? When do they bloom.

I don't know the answer to your question as I figured they'd all do well here. I am also in Clear Lake, there is someone down the street from us that have beautiful geraniums that stand easily almost 3 feet tall!

I get mine from my MIL, her family cross polinated some special ones a while back and they sell them.

Not much help, I know.

Good luck!

I've had good luck with the scented geraniums. I've been growing them a couple of years now.

If you're interested in a get together with other CL gardeners, you should consider coming to the Fall plant swap.

Here is a link that might be useful: Galveston County Plant Swap (formerly Clear Lake Plant Swap)
